GOD IS IN CONTROL!!!
Have you ever had a reason this season to doubt God? Here is why you shouldn't
I woke up this morning to the good news that one of my church members and a family friend had given birth. This is a miracle beyond our explanation. I have known these couples for years now. Wouldnt say I can explain how they felt but I had a glimpse of what it’s like.
Year after year we held hands and prayed in agreement for God to show up. This year makes it fourteen years(14) since they got married. You can imagine the pain and the thoughts going through their minds.
She never showed any sign about how she felt, not like we asked about it. It was a subject we didn’t feel comfortable discussing but we knew it wasn’t easy.
You will always find sis in the midst of children. In fact, she championed children's activities. One would assume she had tons of children. We remained hopeful that a solution will eventually come.
Earlier this year I noticed she was gaining weight. Guess the entire church noticed as well. We silently prayed it was a baby and not just body fat.
Today, 27th October 2020, we got the answer after 14years of waiting.
See, don't doubt God. If He has said it, that settles it.
Are you believing God for a way out this season? Don’t lose hope yet.
Don't let the situations around you define God's faithfulness. He's faithful both in the good and not-so-good times. He knows and He hears your plea. Help is coming your way this season. The longer the wait, the greater the joy.
For we know, the sufferings of these present times are nothing to be compared with the glory that shall be revealed. Don't let the enemy sow unbelief or hopelessness in your mind.
God hasn't forgotten you.
He is working things out for your good even amid the chaos. Don't interpret silence to mean abandoned. God may be silent but he hasn't abandoned you.
He is likened to a mother who watches her child from a distance as the child learns to walk.
At that moment the child feels alone in the world. Oblivious of the presence of the mother. The mother watches with both joy and anxiety. The joy that her little champ is becoming a toddler and anxiety that the child may fall.
However, she relies more on joy than focus on the possibility of the child falling. Little by little she moves closer to her child. The child is unaware. He takes the first step and the next. Suddenly he feels like a superman and attempts to run.
At that point, he wobbles, and just when he is about to hit the floor, a warm hand embraces him amidst laugher and awe. He looks up and beyond it's Mama.
This is how God watches over you.
He watches as you take a step and another step. Soon you feel you're capable of your stuff and begin to act all tough. But when the winds of life hit you off balance, God is right on time to pick you up. He loves and cares for you beyond what words can explain.
Don't forget this today. Stay safe and keep holding on!
Cheers
